Pastoral Care
Pastoral Care is provided on a number of levels at St Peter’s Girls’ School.
Chapel Services are a key component of our Pastoral Care, embodying our Anglican values and principles. They are held throughout each term, giving our girls the ability to develop and strengthen spiritual connections.
Home Group/Class teachers also take a leading role in the personal, spiritual and educational care of our students. The School facilitates close communication between subject teachers, Heads of Sub-Schools and Home Group/Class teachers in order to provide the best individual care.
St Peter’s Girls has a clinical psychologist on staff in the role of School Counsellor who offers a confidential counselling service to all students, parents and staff. If the School Counsellor is urgently required, special appointments can be accommodated.
The School has also launched #EMPOWHER, a detailed and dedicated wellbeing program to ensure staff, parents and students work together to give our girls the tools they need to lead happy and healthy lives on campus, at home and in the wider world.
St Peter's Girls provides our parents with access to many innovative resources, such as 'SchoolTV', a world-first digital wellbeing platform. With fresh content from leading experts in the field, it features clear, relevant and fact-based information around raising safe, happy and resilient young people.
