Community Groups

Parents are a vibrant and important part of the St Peter’s Girls’ community. Many opportunities are available to become involved with the School, connect with other community members and build strong and lasting friendships.

Year Level Representatives

Year Level Representatives are the focal point for organising informal year level social functions to help foster contact between parents. Gatherings include lunches, dinners, morning and afternoon teas and picnics. Year Level Representatives also support School community groups by encouraging their year level group to attend fundraising and/or social functions, as well as communicating relevant information.

Friends of The Arts

The Friends of The Arts are committed to helping provide the support and facilities needed to foster a wonderful experience in The Arts for the whole School community. The group undertakes a number of fundraising activities each year to support the provision of resources to The Arts Department.

Saints Sport Support Group

To further the success of our Sport Department, a group of parents hosts a variety of events and assists in fundraising. They meet as required and support School Sport carnivals.

Friends of Rowing

Friends of Rowing is the parent support group that assists with the operation of the Rowing program at St Peter’s Girls.

Activities include fundraising, assisting with camps, supporting crews at regattas, transporting and erecting marquees, organising social functions and liaising with the School via the Director of Rowing.

Friends of the ELC

The Friends of the ELC is a volunteer group of parents who work with the Director of Early Learning to organise special events for our ELC community, facilitate children’s learning where possible and fundraise on a needs basis. Meetings are held fortnightly on a day that suits after drop-off and usually last for 45 minutes.

Parents play an integral role in decision-making and facilitating the Early Years Program. The community emphasis is vital to the development of relationships at the Early Learners’ Centre.
